Botanical name: Eupatorium perfoliatum

Common names: Feverwort, Boneset, Indian sage, sweating plant, wood boneset

Boneset was commonly used by Native Americans. It was once believed to be able to heal broken bones, hence the name. It is still used to treat many other health conditions. It's often prepared as an extract, or as a warm or cold infusion. The tea is bitter.
