Common names: Hawthorn berries, may flower, quickthorn, whitehorn, thorn apple
Hawthorn berries have traditional use as a heart tonic. It is said to heal physically, emotionally, and spiritually. They are also said to aid circulation in general, improving blood flow to the extremities while supporting joints, veins, and other body systems. It is gentle enough to be used long-term. Hawthorn berries have a tart, slightly sweet taste, and are delicious in candies, jellies, jams, herbal extracts, teas, and everything in between.
Hawthorn berries are commonly used for healing and love in magic, as well.
