Om or Aum is a sacred symbol, also known as Namaste and has many peaceful meanings. One such, "I honor the place in you in which the entire universe dwells. I honor the place in you which is of love, light, peace and joy. When you are in that place in you and I an in that place in me, We Are One" Unknown. But in general, it means the knowledge of one’s own Self, an awareness of inner peace and reminder people to slow down and breathe.

This symbol has origins such as ancient and medieval era manuscripts, temples, monasteries and spiritual retreats in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism.

SIZE AND DETAIL:
This piece is about 3/4" long and 3/4" wide. Each pendant contains approximately 3.5 grams of fine silver. I handcraft each piece so weight may vary slightly. All my materials are recycled and/or natural.

HOW IT"S MADE:
I made this fine silver pendant using Art Clay Silver (PMC). .999 and 950 After I shape the piece, I fire it in my jewelry kiln for 2 hours at 1650 degrees. Most of my jewelry is made to order but I usually craft them within a month or so of sale.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
It's so easy! Fine silver doesn't tarnish easily, in fact I have a couple of pieces I haven't polished in a year or so. Just get a silver polishing cloth, when you notice a little change in the silver brilliance, just rub it with the cloth a few times! It will not disappoint.
